Argynix IoT

The universal multi-protocol edge controller

The platform every other ARGYNIX product is built on. An industrial edge controller that expands to 256 inputs and 256 outputs, with sensor inputs, Wi-Fi / PoE / 4G connectivity and Zigbee · LoRa · RS485 · Wiegand — running on-device automation that keeps working offline, and streaming everything to the cloud, Home Assistant, Apple HomeKit and the ARGYNIX apps.

Overview

Why teams pick it.

One controller replaces a rack of single-purpose gateways. It expands to 256 inputs and 256 outputs, drives relays and dimmers, reads digital and analog sensors, pairs any-vendor Zigbee and LoRa devices, bridges RS485-Modbus equipment, learns IR/RF remotes, and runs automation rules and visual loop programs on-device — so automations keep firing even when the link drops. Everything streams to the cloud for SCADA dashboards and two-way control, surfaces in Home Assistant and Apple HomeKit, and updates fleet-wide over the air. There's even a built-in AI assistant that can read live telemetry and drive outputs for you.

Capabilities

What's under the hood.

Scales to 256 I/O

Expands to 256 inputs and 256 outputs, plus analog in (0–10 V / 4–20 mA) and analog / dimmer outputs — with delayed, jog and pulse modes and interlock groups.

Zigbee, LoRa & RF

Built-in any-vendor Zigbee coordinator, long-range LoRa, and learn-and-replay IR / 433 MHz RF for legacy remotes.

RS485, Modbus & Wiegand

Transparent RS485 ↔ TCP Modbus RTU/TCP bridge plus RS232 and Wiegand readers — bring existing equipment online.

Edge automation

On-device automation rules, visual loop programs, schedules, counters and virtual flags — no cloud required.

Cloud, SCADA & app

Native cloud telemetry + two-way control, custom SCADA dashboards, Home Assistant & HomeKit, and the ARGYNIX mobile app.

AI assistant + OTA

Ask the built-in AI about live state or let it drive outputs, and keep every unit current with dual-bank OTA and rollback.

Where it's used

Put it to work.

A few of the ways teams deploy Argynix IoT.

01

Remote monitoring

Watch sensors, meters and machine state live from anywhere, with alerts on thresholds.

02

Two-way control

Switch relays, set dimmers and trigger scenes from the cloud or app in real time.

03

Edge automation

Run automation rules and loop programs on-device so logic survives network drops.

04

Multi-site fleets

Standardize on one controller and manage every site with SCADA dashboards and fleet-wide OTA.

In the box

Everything to deploy.

  • Argynix IoT controller
  • Wi-Fi / 4G antenna kit
  • DIN-rail clip + pluggable terminals
  • Quick-start card
  • Cloud onboarding
  • Lifetime OTA firmware updates

The base controller ships with a fixed set of digital and analog I/O and expands — over add-on I/O, Modbus and wireless devices — up to 256 inputs and 256 outputs per unit.

Yes. Automation rules, visual loop programs and schedules run on the device itself, so automations keep firing when the cloud link drops, and resync on reconnect.

Provision over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or a QR code from the ARGYNIX app, or configure everything from the built-in web console — no app or internet required.

Native cloud telemetry, two-way control and custom SCADA dashboards in ARGYNIX Connect — and it also exposes itself to Home Assistant (auto-discovery) and Apple HomeKit.

Yes — any-vendor Zigbee, LoRa, a transparent RS485 ↔ TCP Modbus bridge, RS232, Wiegand readers, and IR / 433 MHz RF learn-and-replay bring legacy devices online without rip-and-replace.

Routinely — we tailor firmware, I/O counts, protocols and enclosures for fleet rollouts, and push updates over the air for the life of the product.
